Cellular Jail, also known as 'Kala pani' was a colonial prison situated in the Andamans& Nicobar Islands. The prison was used by British especially to exile political prisoners to the remote archipelago. It was constructed between 1896- 1906. The seal depicts the Jail which is a major tourist attraction.
