Kamalapura: Bear

The Daroji Sloth Bear sanctuary is situated 15 kms from Hampi. The Sanctuary which began in 1994 in eastern plain of Karnataka has proved to be a suitable habitat for Indian Sloth Bears. It is estimated about 120 sloth Bears are living in the sanctuary.
