This is a four storied wooden templeand is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar. The temple was erected in 1553 and is dedicated to goddess Hidimba.
according to India epic Mahabharath Hadimb Demon ruled some of the sub mountainous forests of Himalayas. his sister was Hidimba.
