The AmbaTemple is the oldest in this region and said to have been originally dedicated to Indra. The images of Ambabai alongwith Ganpati, Mahadeo, Vishnu and Parvati are kept in three arch shaped gabharas .It is said that from this place Krishna carried off Rukmini, who had come to temple with her brother for offering puja before her marriage with Sisupal.
